Aday öğrencilerimize üniversite yaşamı ve meslek seçimi hakkında geniş çaplı bilgi vermeyi amaçlayan "ODTÜ Tercih Fuarı", 2-3-4 Temmuz 2015 tarihlerinde ODTÜ Kültür ve Kongre Merkezi'nde 10.00-16.00 saatleri arasında yapılacaktır.

Öğrenciler, bölümlerin tanıtıldığı özel oturumlarda bölümlere ilişkin tüm konularda meraklarını giderebilecek. Akademik imkânların yanı sıra öğrenci topluluklarından sosyal tesislere, kütüphaneden burslara kadar birçok alanda ODTÜ'nün tanıtılacağı Tercih Günleri, öğrencilerin doğru karar verebilmeleri için büyük bir fırsat.

Belirtilen tarihlerde, üç gün boyunca tekrarlanacak program kapsamında öğrenciler tüm bölümlerden akademisyenlerle bire bir iletişim kurma fırsatı bulacak.

Ayrıca, ODTÜ 3-4-5 Temmuz tarihlerinde 10.00 – 18.00 saatleri arasında Lütfi Kırdar Kongre ve Sergi Sarayı’nda yapılacak İstanbul Eket Üniversite Tercih Fuarı’nda, 7-8 Temmuz tarihlerinde 10.00 – 16.00 saatleri arasında İzmir ODTÜ Ege Mezunlar Derneği’nde (1453 (Gazi Kadınlar) Sokak No:8 K:1 D:1 Alsancak) üniversite adaylarıyla buluşacak.

An entrepreneurship base from ODTU TEKNOKENT, in Silicon Valley the world-wide renowned technology centre in San Francisco in the USA

T-Jump San Francisco is a US based center founded to foster international growth of Turkish tech ecosystem by supporting Turkish companies with an effective and efficient entry into the US market with comprehensive services, and networking for US based companies.

The centre that has been established with the support of the Ministry of Economy under the ownership of ODTU TEKNOKENT will be serving as an assisting point that would simplify the access of new entrepreneurs and companies over a certain size from Turkey into US market.  Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), Turkish Economy Bank (TEB) and Intel participate as business partners in this undertaking. A signature ceremony was held for ODTU TEKNOKENT San Francisco Centre during the Innovation Week in Izmir, on March 19^th-20^th, 2015 and Mr. Nihat Zeybekci, the Minister of Economy; Mr. Ufuk Batum, Vice President of ODTU TEKNOKENT together with the executives of the business partners incorporated in the project attended the ceremony emphasizing the necessity of opening such a centre in the home of high-tech corporations and the significance of such a centre for the country.  

T-Jump SF Centre is located in the heart of San Francisco and operated as a One-Stop-Shop to provide a wide variety of services needed for the US expansion of Turkish companies. In order to support the Turkish companies, the center offers;

• network building,
• portfolio/technology marketing,
• business development,
• sales opportunity follow up,
• capacity building services.

In that respect, main goals of T-Jump SF are as follows:

• Supporting Turkish tech companies to expand in the US through investments or sales, and helping high tech R&D studies to be commercialized in the US,
• Creating awareness about the opportunities in Turkey for US based tech companies, and helping them to expand or build team in Turkey.

T-Jump SF will provide consulting and support services to help Turkish companies research, launch, expand, and succeed in the United States. It offers a comprehensive suite of services that enable companies to be successful in growing their businesses which are developed considering the unique needs of Turkish companies. Dear Students and Staff Members,

On account of the General Elections to be held on 7 June 2015, the Higher Education Council (YÖK) has asked universities to change the timing of examinations scheduled for 5-9 June 2015.  Changing the examination dates on such a short notice will cause major difficulties for our students and upset the calendars of Spring/Summer semesters. In order to accommodate our students who need to vote outside the Ankara Province, the University Executive Board has decided to make the following arrangement:

1. In order to avoid delays in resit examinations, the graduation ceremony, and interruptions in the programmed activities of our students, such as summer practices and summer courses, the final examinations scheduled for 5-6 June 2015 will be held at the announced times and places.

2. Those students who will vote in places outside Ankara Province on June 7, on the condition that they, by 16:30 on 4 June 2015 Thursday, apply to the Chair of the Department giving the examination and provide a voter’s card or registration information indicating a voting location outside of Ankara Province, will be given a make-up examination on 10-11 June 2015.
