YENİ FİKİRLER YENİ İŞLER FINAL IS COMING SOON! 

Valuable entrepreneurs and business ideas have been supported by Yeni Fikirler Yeni İşler Competition (the New Ideas New Businesses), which celebrates its 10^th year, once again in 2014. Now, the entrepreneurs standing out amongst more than a thousand of entrepreneurs during the competition period, has been determined.

Winners of the competition will be elected and announced in the Final which will be held on November 8, 2014, in Middle East Technical University, Cultural and Convention Centre. In this event, the entrepreneurs will present their business ideas for the first time and try to get support from the audience.

Competitors are given different prizes in each category as venture capital.

In the Final, you can take the opportunity to meet with investors, managers, academicians and entrepreneurs. Also, you can have a whale of a time with great music and cocktail, as well as watching the pitches of the most innovative projects.

13th International METU Republic Cup, the biggest and most prestigious dance tournament of Turkey, which is organized by our university's Dance Sport Club, will be held on November 1^st, 2014 at METU Sports Hall.

The event, which acts under the auspices of World Dance Sport Federation since 2009, will draw more than 250 athletes of different age groups representing 24 different nations. The competitions will be judged by 14 internationally licensed adjudicators. According to the number, diversity and quality of the couples and adjudicators, METU Republic Cup is ranked in the top-10 of all all the dance sport competitions organized by WDSF.

The initial rounds between 9 am-5 pm will be followed by a spectacular evening program which will start at 7 pm. During the gala program, the audience will have chance to watch 11 couples who are listed among the top 50 dance athletes of the world. The dancers from METU and Girne American University will also perform a impressive hiphop show. The evening program will be webcasted live via event's website. 

The tickets for the event can be obtained from the ticket desk at METU Carsi or ticket office at METU Cultural and Convention Center. There will also be a ticket desk at the METU Sports Center on the competition day.

We welcome all our students, personnel and alumni to METU Sports Center on Saturday, November 1^st, to celebrate the 91st anniversary of foundation of Turkish Republic together with many guests from all over the world.
