Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Graduation Projects Fair

UK based Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has announced the 2015 rankings of world universities according to their subjects. Out of 3,551, 400 most succesful universities has been determined regarding their performances on research papers in 36 individual subjects areas. ODTÜ entered in the top 400 university list with 10 subjects areas, being the highest ranking Turkish university in the QS listings. Our fellow Turkish universities have also been listed. İstanbul Technical University (İTU) with 9, ID Bilkent University with 6, Boğaziçi University with 4, Hacettepe University with 2 subjects areas and Ankara University, İstanbul University, Sabancı University and Koç University with 1 subject area have entered the rankings among the most successful 400 universities in the world.
Civil and Structural Engineering and Mechanical-Aeronautical-Manufacturing Engineering subjects are the only fields from Turkey represented by our university to be in the top 100 university list.
Additionally, ODTÜ is listed among the first 150 with 2 subjects areas; Statistics-Operational Resarch and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Also, we have been listed in the first 200 with 3 subjects areas; Political and International Studies, Education and Marine Sciences. Mathematics, Computing Sciences and Information Systems subjects have been among the first 250. We have been listed among the first 300 universities in Physics and Astronomy.
İTÜ is listed among the top 150 universities with Civil Engineering and Mechanical-Aeronautical-Manufacturing Engineering, in the top 200 with Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Earth and Marine Sciences, Materials Sciences, in the top 250 universities with Environmental Science, in the top 300 universities with Physics and Astronomy, and in the top 400 universities with Mathematics and Computer Science and Information Systems while İD Bilkent University is listed among the top 150 universities with Politics and International Studies, in the top 200 universities with Electrical-Electronics Engineering, in the top 300 universities with Mechanical-Aeronautical-Manufacturing Engineering, English Language and Literature and Computer Science and Information Systems and in the top 400 universities with Physics and Astronomy. Boğaziçi University, on the other hand, is listed in the top 250 universities with Electrical-Electronics Engineering, in the top 300 universities with Mechanical-Aeronautical-Manufacturing Engineering and Computer Science and Information Systems and in the top 400 universities with Physics and Astronomy. Additionally, Hacettepe University is listed in the top 300 universities with English Language and Literature and in the top 400 universities with Medicine. Koç University found a place with among the top 200 universities in Political and International Studies, and also İstanbul University in the top 300 universities with Medicine. Sabancı University, among top 300 universities with Electrical-Electronics Engineering, and Ankara University among top 400 universities with Medicine are included in the subject ranking lists.
