China’s Xiamen University visited Middle East Technical University on October 23-25, 2011. The President of Xiamen University, Prof. Zhu Chongshi was accompanied by Prof. Lin Shengcai (Dean of School of Life Sciences), Prof. Ling Shide (Dean of School of Architecture and Civil Engineering), Prof. Li Jun (Dean of School of Information Science and Technology), Mr. Mao Tongwen (Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange) and Ms. Yu Hongbo (Section Chief of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange). Xiamen delegation met with our President Prof. Dr. Ahmet Acar and visited the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, The Faculty of Architecture and the Graduate School of Informatics for a possible collaboration between the two institutions. The delegation from Xiamen University was also briefed in our METU-TECH and Conficius Center, and their activities were introduced to our guests.
