METU Research Info Series will begin on March 18, 2013.
In the first session (March 18, Monday) of the Info Series “Intellectual Property Rights” and “Open Access” issues will be covered; while in the second session (March 20, Wednesday) “National and International Funding Opportunities for Young Researchers” will be presented.
Info Series will continue with sessions on the “Research Career Stories” of several researchers on April, 25 (Thursday) and April 29 (Monday).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haluk Külah, Assist. Prof. Dr. Barış Salihoğlu, Prof. Dr. Hami Alpas, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Ayata, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Türker Özkan, Prof. Dr. Kürşat Çağıltay, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neriman Güçhan Şahin will share their research career stories and project experiences.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Kerem Pekkan from Koç University Mechanical Engineering Department, one of the two researchers in Turkey who have been funded through the ERC programme within FP7, will also be sharing his ERC project experiences.
