Upon the earthquake that took place in Kahramanmaraş and impacted several cities, various support programs have been initiated for our students and citizens residing in the region and affected by the earthquake. Our dormitories have been prepared and are ready for our students who stay at the METU dormitories and reside in the areas affected by the earthquake in case they want to return to the campus earlier than the previously scheduled dates. The announcement on this issue has already been made to our students. There are also efforts to create additional support programs for our students affected by the earthquake, such as stipends and monetary aid for transportation.

With the coordination of AFAD, an aid-in-kind campaign has been initiated to help those in the region impacted by the earthquake. You can contribute to this campaign by bringing the following items to the Kümbet Hall at METU Culture and Convention Center (KKM) either in-person or via cargo services from today onwards.
