Gıda Mühendisliği Bölümü öğretim üyemiz Doç.Dr. Mecit Halil Öztop’un; Sırbistan, Almanya, Polonya, İngiltere, Beyaz Rusya, Pakistan, Şili ve Güney Afrika iş birliğiyle; şeker, çikolata ve şekerleme endüstrisi için alternatif kalite kontrol yöntemleri geliştireceği, 1.6 milyon € bütçeli, SuChAQuality başlıklı H2020-MSCA RISE projesinde ODTÜ proje koordinatörü olarak yer alacak. Projeye; Kayseri Şeker, Durukan Şekerleme San. ve Tic. A.Ş. ile Tören Gıda Sanayi ve Ticaret. A.Ş. katkıda bulunacak.

METU will be the coordinator of the H2020-MSCA RISE project of Assoc.Prof. Mecit Halil Öztop from Food Engineering department with the title of SuChAQuality, with a budget of 1.6 million €, in partnership with Serbia, Germany, Poland, UK, Belarus, Pakistan, Chile and Sout Africa to develop alternative quality control methods fort he sugar, chocolate and confectionery industry. Kayseri Sugar, Durukan Confectionery Industry and Trade Inc., and Tören Food Industry and Trade Inc.will also contribute to the project.
