Feyza Erden, Ph.d., born on August 3, 1973, graduated from Middle East Technical University Department of Sociology in 1995. In 1998, she got an MS degree in Sociology. The same year, with the scholarship granted by Ministry of Education, she started her doctoral study at the Florida State University, Department of Early Childhood Education. Upon earning her Ph.D. there, Feyza Erden returned to Turkey. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education at Middle East Technical University. Her academic interests are clasroom management, discipline, play in early childhood, curriculum and assessment. She is married with one child.
