BS 716: Principles of Green Building Design and Delivery
Construction and operation of buildings provide enormous impacts on the environment. Energy, water and raw materials are used extensively and waste, which could be harmful to the world, is generated. To minimize these unwanted impacts, construction professionals are increasingly getting interested in designing-constructing and operating environmentally friendly buildings. To support these processes, parties need to understand the principles of how sustainability and green design principles could benefit the project life cycle.
