Construction professionals are increasingly getting involved in information systems design and development in order to improve their businesses. To support this process, parties need to understand how information is structured and modelled.

This course introduces the topic of data and information modelling for the use of the construction informatics research area. The course starts with some basic issues such as object-oriented technology and continues to introduce data / information modelling techniques and methodologies.
