I have a bachelor degree in Mathematics and worked as mathematics teacher for three years. In 1999, I moved to USA for three years to complete my M.Sc degree in the fields of mathematics education. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002.

I am currently working as a research assistant at the Department of Secondary Science and Mathematics Education at METU.

My general research interest is "learning mathematics with technology".I have been working on development of web-based assessment and evaluation tools and interactive learning materials since 1997. Specifically, I focus on developing web-based adaptive learning and assessment tool to improve students' achivements in mathematics. My current research activity is about developing an item bank to support teachers' assessment activities and help them use Computerized Adaptive Testing in their practices. I am working with Prof.Dr Giray Berberoğlu on my PhD thesis.
