I work as an Assistant
Professor at the Department of
Foreign Language Education, Middle
East Technical University at Ankara where I mainly teach research
methods, linguistics, language skills and language teaching methodology
courses as well as practicum. You can reach my course outlines from the

I hold a PhD in Foreign
Language Education. My academic interests mainly
lie within the domains of cross-cultural (im)politeness research,
corpus linguistics, intercultural communication, applied linguistics,
and the teaching of English and Turkish as a foreign language.
