I am a Research/Teaching Assistant at the Department of Foreign Language Education, Middle East Technical University at Ankara. 

Here I mainly teach linguistics, research methods, language skills and language teaching methodology courses. I am currently working toward a doctoral degree in foreign language education. My interests mainly lie within the domains of cross-cultural politeness research and applied linguistics, and the teaching of English and Turkish as a foreign language.
