By the completion of this course, students should have a theoretical understanding of
1. morality and ethics in general and specific to clinical professions
2. development of morality issues in human history and in developmental psychology
3. universal vs. cultural determinants of morality and issues specific to Turkish culture
4. professional codes of conduct developed by American Psychologist Association and Turkish Psychological Association
Besides the theoretical integration of historical, developmental and clinical aspects of ethics, students are also required to submit thier individual research projects on ethical issues in Clinical Psychology at the end of the semester.
