Erdinc Cakiroglu is an assistant professor of mathematics education in the Department of Elementary Education at Middle East Technical University and he is the assistant chair of the department of Elementary Education.

His current work involve the use of technology in mathemtical problem solving, mathematics teachers' professional development, curriculum development in mathematics, and multiple representations of mathematics concepts.

His basic mission is to work for making school mathematics more meaningful for children.
