o Generated synthetic streamflow data using multivariate stochastic models,
o Developed physical reservoir regulation models for the Lake Winnipeg and Southern Indian Lake outflows,
o Developed the drought simulation model for the system, and
o Analyzed the return period of Manitoba Hydro’s critical drought.
Building Design and Construction Engineer
Emek Construction Co. Ltd, North Cyprus 1992 – 1995
o Supervised the construction of a sewer system , an Olympic swimming pool, several buildings, and roads,
o Designed the residential, industrial, and commercial building structures,
o Controlled the engineering projects that are constructed by contractors,
o Developed and scheduled construction activities,
o Worked in the cost estimates team,
o Conducted research to determine unit prices of each activities and materials,
o Performed survey of the construction land using surveying methods, and
o Organized the delivery of materials and equipments needed for the construction.

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Research Assistant
University of Manitoba, Canada 2000 - 2005
Analyzed data, model and parameter uncertainties associated with stochastic models in the probability of the Churchill-Nelson River Basin streamflow drought. The project is funded by Manitoba Hydro and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, Canada. During this research:
o Analyzed the Churchill-Nelson River Basin streamflow data statistically,
o Identified the uncertainties associated with stochastic models, parameters, and data in the assessment of hydro-power system drought probability,
o Developed Markov-Switching model-based stochastic modeling framework,
o Incorporated identified uncertainties into stochastic models using Bayesian Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) methods, and
o Compared the developed Markov-Switching model with traditional stochastic streamflow models in hydrology, using several drought statistics.
Research Assistant
Eastern Mediterranean University, North Cyprus 1995 - 2000
Analyzed meteorological drought of North Cyprus using Palmer Drought Severity Index (PDSI). During this research:
o Filled-in missing meteorological monthly data,
o Programmed the physical hydrologic water balance model of PDSI,
o Simulated PDSI values from observed precipitation and temperature data, and
o Compared the PDSI values with other drought indices.
